The best thing about gaming is being so OP you can destroy anything. And while we wish we could use these characters for some of the more challenging levels, we're just in awe of how bada** these characters are.

John 117, the poster child of the SPARTAN program and the USMC, Chief has saved the universe time and time again with his fearlessness, gun skill, and a ridiculous amount of strength.

Prototype isn’t a series most people think about anymore but Alex is essentially the ultimate killing machine. His powers allow him to become any kind of weapon he wants or needs to be, with superhuman strength to boot.

Asura Most gaming characters just yell and scream to power up, Asura quite literally punches a God out of his fucking way and saves his planet in the process.

Bayonetta

Bayonetta has guns on her hands and feet and if you get your combo score high enough, she can turn her hair into demons that will eat your victims, she’s the literal definition of overpowered. ( And extremely sexy )

Cole can quite literally control electricity, draining it from any surface or using it to kill people at will. With his power, Cole could quite literally cripple a city single-handedly.

Deathwing

Deathwing woke up and quite literally broke Azeroth into chunks, creating gashes and wounds in the planet that still haven’t been healed or filled ten years later, and possibly never will be. Any creature that can throw lava and quite literally break the world in half is overpowered for no reason whatsoever.

Rip and Tear, while the rest of the earth and its population are decimated by demons, the Doom Marine kills everything he comes across all by himself with nothing but his bare hands, a few guns, and a chainsaw. Anyone that’s played Doom Eternal knows just how much of a monster he is.

Kratos has literally slain every God and Goddess he’s come in contact with. Broke into Olympus and Asgard, slain Zeus, put the God of Olympus’ eyes out with his bare thumbs, snapped his neck, then threw his lifeless corpse off of a cliff. Kratos may be a mortal, but he’s a beast.

Talk about not knowing how to stay down, Senator Armstrong has literally turned himself into a cyborg by infusing his body with nanomachines. He has cybernetically hardened skin, the ability to summon flames, is extremely fast, and the powerful hits that make him a beast to fight.

Anyone that’s played Persona 3 knows just how much of a bitch Nyx really is, she’s 14 different bosses with 13 power sets in one, and she’s the personification of death, that has the ability to reflect all damage done to her. I wouldn’t want to come across her in a dark alley.

More unstoppable than Nemesis from Resident Evil 3, Pyramid head just lumbers after you, time after time, no matter where you go, with a gigantic butcher’s knife that he uses to brutally murder his victims. It doesn’t matter what you do, you can’t kill him, all you can do is run. The thing that makes him special is he's part of you, part of your imagination, so until you face yourself, you can't do anything to him.

Sith Lords are always powerful, but Starkiller was the first Sith Lord to grab an Imperial Star Destroyer with the force and pull it out of the sky, forcing it to crash into the ground. If that doesn’t show how powerful he is, nothing will.
